Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: JodhpurOur Company chauffeur or executive meet you at Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station for your warm welcoming. After check inn hotel. In evening visit local market of Clock tower area. Overnight stay at Jodhpur hotel.
Day 02: Jodhpur Local Sightseeing
After breakfast take guided tour of Jodhpur visit here Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhawan Measum, Jaswant Thada and Mandore Garden.
In evening enjoy shopping area and some street food area. Overnight stay at Jodhpur Hotel
Day 03: Jaisalmer
Morning check out and proceed to Jaisalmer, the golden city of Rajasthan. In the late afternoon check in at hotel take rest and leisure in evening walk city tour. Come back in hotel and take Dinner. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer Hotel.
Jaisalmer is one of the most romantic places in Rajasthan. Exotic for foreign tourists. For Centuries, this little settlement near the present India – Pakistan border was a trading post, via which trains of camels trekked across deserts to Afghanistan and West Asia. Carrying silver and cloth, among other items. In 1156, Rawal Jaisal founded the Jaisalmer and started building a fort here and later rulers kept making additions to the structure.
Day 04: Sum
Taken Morning breakfast checkout your Hotel to drive Sum in route visit Jaisalmer sightseeing.
Jaisalmer Fort is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. It is situated in the city of Jaisalmer, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a World Heritage Site. The golden hued fort is a sentinel to the bleak desertscape from its 80 mts high perch on the hill, housing the entire township within its ramparts. It has an enchanting cow-web of narrow lanes dotted with some lovely haveli’s, three beautifully sculptured Jain Temples of the 12th-15th century A.D. and five interconnected palaces.The fort is approached through four gateways-Akhaiyal, Ganesh Pol, Suraj Pol and Hava Pol.
Gadisagar Lake in Jaisalmer is an artificial lake built by Raja Rawal Jaisal. This is a rain water conservation lake built by Maharawal Gadsi in 14th century. It was once the main source of drinking water for the entire town of Jaisalmer. Now it is a tourist spot, there are many small temples and shrines around it. A wide variety of water birds can be seen here especially in winter. This is the most popular point to take photographs of Jaisalmer fort early in the morning when the fort looks golden with the first rays of the Sun.
Later in afternoon, you will be taken for lunch.
Patwon ki Haveli, A group of apartments, this is one of the largest and most elaborate of Havelis in Jaisalmer and stands in a narrow lane. It is five storeys high and is extensively carved. A part of this beautiful building is owned by the Department of Archaeology and Museum. There are remnants of some paintings on the walls inside as well as some mirror work. This has been the star attraction of Jaisalmer.
Nathmalji Ki Haveli, Two architect brothers built it in the 19th century. Interestingly, while one concentrated on the right, the other concentrated on the left and the result is a symphony epitomizing the side-by-side symmetry during construction. Paintings in miniature style monopolize the walls in the interior. Mighty tuskers carved out of yellow sandstone stand guard to the haveli. It is a private property.
Later in the evening you will be taken to visit Sum Sand Dunes.
SUM
Is situated 40 km southwest of Jaisalmer out in the desert near Pakistan border. It is a peaceful area with houses of mud. The Sum sand dunes offer you a memorable experience in the land of the Rajputs. Enjoy the ride on camel back and let the place itself take you to its mesmerizing heights. Get closer to the local way of living with a close view of thatched straw roofs, camels, narrow streets and the local bazaar. At the night, organize a campfire with the fellow tourists (if any) and listen to the songs of ‘Kalbeliyas’.
In evening come back at Jaisalmer. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Bap
Early morning breakfast drive for Bap check inn here Barsingha Villa Hotel. After some time take rest enjoy activities through provide Hotel Staff like Adobe Village, Animal and Wildlife, Camel Safari and Culinary Experience. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 06: Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner and check in at the proposed hotel. Bikaner is a medievel period fortified city and is one of the best places to be explored on your Rajasthan tour. Junagarh Fort and Camel Research Farm are just the best kept secrets of Bikaner. The first on our sightseeing tour will be Junagarh fort. Junagarh fort - It is one of the most imposing forts of Northern India and was built in 15th century by one of the most able and trusted generals of Akbar, Raja Rai Singh. Later also visit the Camel breeding farm. Stay overnight at Bikaner.
Day 07: Khimsar
Take Early morning breakfast and check out your hotel for drive Khimsar. Inroute visit Rat Temple which is known as a name of Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok. After this sightseeing visit Nagaur Fort and in evening reach at Khimsar Village. In evening enjoy Rural Village Area with Camel Safari or by Walk. Come back at Hotel or Tent. In evening enjoy dance activities here. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Khimsar is located in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan. It is a very small village in the state of Rajasthan that is located on the border of the Thar Desert. The small hamlet features a water body in the centre which makes it look like an oasis in the arid region. Many tourists visit this small village throughout the year. There are a lot of places that you will get to visit when you are in Khimsar. This village was once an independent place which was ruled by the Thakurs of the Khimsar.
Day 08: Jodhpur Drop
Early morning check out hotel to see sightseeing of Khimsar Fort and drive for Jodhpur for Drop at Airport or Railway Station.
Tour ends but sweet memories remains always.
