Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Jaipur/Delhi To Arrival Leh (Alt: 11500 / 3505 M)
Arrival Leh kushok bakula rinpoche airport one of the world highest operated airport in the world at 3500 mtr above sea level . On a clear day from one side of the aircraft one can see the peaks of k2, nanga parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft is the nun kun in zanskar valley, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it. Upon arrival you will met by india by car chauffeur representative and transfer to hotel for check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by welcome tea or coffee at the hotel Ladakh Himalayan retreat (lhr). Overnight stay at leh hotel.

Day 02: Leh Local Sightseeing
Local sightseeing of Sangam river-hall of fame-magnetic hill-pathar sahib.

After breakfast proceeds to Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, drive along with the Indus river visiting, Pathar sahib gurdwara and magnetic hill (where the cars defy gravity), and further on to leh hall of fame (which has a museum of the kargil war memorabilia.

Day 03: Leh- Khardongla - Nubra Valley / 125 Kms / 4-5 Hours.
After breakfast leave for nubra valley, popularly known as Dorma or 'the valley of flowers' driving across Khardung La (alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world. Nubra valley lies between the Karakoram & ladakh ranges at an average altitude of 10,000 ft. Till the closure of the trans-Karakoram trade route by the Chinese in 1949, Nubra valley was a busy trade corridor on the central asian trade route. Reach deskit / hunder in the afternoon and explore the area and the white sand dunes where you can also take a short camel safari on the double-humped bactrian camel found there (optional service). Overnight stay at nubra hotel.

Day 04: Nubra Valley – Shayok - Pangong / 125 Kms / 4 - 5 Hours.
After breakfast drive towards pangong via shayok, reaching in the afternoon. Pangong lake (alt:14,500ft.), largest brackish water lake of asia, is 4-5kms wide and about 135kms long of which about two-third portion lies on the other side of the indo-china border. Overnight stay at pangong hotel.

Day 05: Pangong - Upshi - Mahe - Hanle- /240-200 Kms/5-6 Hours
Hanle in changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautifully chanting, calm and soul loosing places in India. Hanle has a lovely hanle monastery offering some great aerial views of whole village that is a home of about 1000 people. Hanle Monastery is a 17th-century monastery of the Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is home to about 60 monks. The main monastery, one of the largest and best known of Ladakh's monasteries, was built under the protange of the kind Senge Namgyal. The views from the top of the monastery are just breathtaking. Hanle is also house an Indian astronomical observatory which is the world highest observatory in the world at a staggering height of 4500 mtrs. Overnight in guest house.

Day 06: Hanle To Leh:
After breakfast drive to Leh. In evening check inn hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 07: Leh Around Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to visit Shanti stupa, leh palace, Stok palace museum they and hemis monastery, and Thikse Monastery.

Day 08: Leh to Fly for Jaipur or Delhi
Today, bid farewell to your tour, as you are transferred to the airport in Leh for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Leh-Ladakh.

(i) Sequence of the day-wise tour program may change depending upon traffic schedules / restrictions on some roads, local weather conditions and other unforeseen travel-related conditions.

(ii) Overnight staying options in the Nubra Valley hotel is with facilities which may not be of the same standard as the hotels used in Leh.

Note on transport service:

✓ The vehicle provided is for sightseeing as per the itinerary on point-to-point basis and not at disposal after or outside the prescribed tour.
✓ Places/sites not visited as per the given tour sequence/route on guest's own advice/choice will not be revisited except on extra payment as per applicable transport rate.
✓ The driver of the taxi is not a guide. He will only provide basic information about the tour route.
✓ All currently applicable hotel taxes (but not future tax/levies, if any)
✓ Pre-paid package: No refund on unutilized services of the package (hotel, transport, meals etc.)
