OverviewDesert Festival of Jaisalmer is the most awaited and famous cultural and colourful events that dominate the sand of Rajasthan and Camel races, turban tying competitions are organized. It is held in the month of February every year in Rajasthan. The desert festival in Jaisalmer has showcased Rajasthani folk songs and dance so it is a very attracted festival for foreign tourists. The rich culture of the region is on display during this three-day long festival. This is the best time to visit Jaisalmer to witness performing arts like Kalbelia dances and folk songs and music.
A person will never forget the famous Gair and Fire dancers which are the major attraction of the Jaisalmer desert festival celebrations. Interesting contests including a Mr. Desert contest and a turban tying competition enhance the fun of the occasion.

Day 01: Delhi
Welcome to India! On your arrival at the Delhi international airport or your desired location you will be welcomed and assisted by our representative or chauffeur and after take guided tour of Delhi In Old Delhi visit the Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. In New Delhi visit the Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and Lakshminarayan Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat Buildings. Overnight Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur
Early morning breakfast drive for Jaipur. Leisure evening is free for city walk near hotel location. Overnight stay at Jaipur Hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur
Morning breakfast take guided tour of Amber Fort - the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon city tour of. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace & the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur – Jaisalmer(by flight)
On the following day, get an assisted transfer to the airport to board the flight for Jaisalmer. On arrival, meet our representative for an assisted transfer to your pre- booked hotel. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Thereafter, proceed to Now, visit the venue of the Desert Festival. Spend the rest of the day in enjoying and participating in various programs such as the Turban Tying Competition, Mr. and Miss. Desert, etc. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Today proceed for the sightseeing of Jaisalmer, visiting Sonargarh Fort a breathtaking sight. There are various magnificent Haveli's to be seen in Jaisalmer such as Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli etc. These Haveli's are fascinating and masterpiece of architecture with impressive carvings. Later drive towards Bikaner, upon arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Jaisalmer – Delhi (by flight / by train)
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to nearest airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
