Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Mumbai
Arrival in Mumbai, and private transfer to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel. Evening is at leisure. Explore Mumbai’s nightlife on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, proceeds for a half-day excursion to the Elephanta Caves a popular World Heritage Site. Afternoon continue sightseeing of the 'city of dreams'. Visit the Gateway of India, Victoria Terminus, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Gandhi Memorial Museum and the Jain Temple at Malabar Hills. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 03: Mumbai – Aurangabad
This morning depart for the airport to board a flight to Aurangabad.

Arrival at Aurangabad: 0715 Hours

On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Leave for a full day excursion to the Ajanta Caves, the famous archaeological masterpiece that has earned the status of World Heritage Site, known for its breath taking prehistoric caves, gorgeous locations and towering sculptures. After observing the Buddhist motifs and style, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Aurangabad
After breakfast, depart for excursion to Ellora Caves, another great archaeological masterpiece that has also been awarded the status of the World Heritage Site. Visit all the 34 Buddhist monasteries, Jain Shrines and Hindu Temples at Ellora. On the way back, visit the famous Daulatabad Fort overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Aurangabad  – Chandigarh
Transfer to Aurangabad to board the flight to Chandigarh as per below schedule.

On arrival check in hotel. Enjoy a tour of Chandigarh visiting Rock gardens and other interesting points. Stay overnight at Chandigarh.

Day 06: Shimla
Transfer to Shimla via. road which is the summer capital of India during British times. Shimla is situated at the Shivalik Mountains which withstands the striking and splendid views of Himalayas. After your arrival to Shimla you will check in the hotel and spend the rest of your time in leisure activities. Have a night stay at Shimla hotel.

Day 07: Shimla
In the morning you will drive to Kufri which is located at an altitude of 2500 meters which is around one hour of drive from Shimla. After this you will be taken to visit some of the attractions of Shimla which comprise of Mall road Shimla, Shimla Ridge, Glenn, prospect Hill, Summer Hill, etc.

Day 08: Shimla
During the day, enjoy a toy train ride in Shimla-Kalka sector. Return back to hotel for overnight stay

Day 09: Anantpr Sahib
Drive to Antantpur Sahib Check in hotel. Visit famous Gurudwara at Anandpur sahib. Overnight at hotel

Day 10: Anantpur to Amritsar
Drive through the fertile plains of Punjab and reach the Mecca of Sikh Faith- Amritsar. On arrival, check in at your hotel.
In the evening take a stroll at the streets of Amritsar watching the local people and their activities at the roadside bazaars. At about 2100 hours in the evening you will be transferred to the Golden Temple to experience a very interesting evening ceremony in which Guru Granth Sahib (The holy book of Sikhs) is carried overhead by a holy man to Akal-Takht (the holy seat of Sikh Panth).

Day 11: Amritsar
Visit the Golden Temple to attend the prayers. The most amazing part is to watch the grand communal feast at the Golden Temple, which runs 24 hours a day where anyone can participate in cooking, washing, cleaning, feeding and other activities at the Langar (feast) Hall. Also visit Jalianwala Bagh.

Later in the day drive to the official India- Pakistan crossing at Wagah to witness the very interesting Beating the retreat ceremony.

Day 12: Delhi
Transfer to Amritsar Railway station to board the train to Delhi.

Arrival in Delhi: 1115 hours

On arrival at Delhi Railway station, transfer to proposed hotel. Stay overnight at Delhi.

Day 13: Varanasi
Transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight to Varanasi.

Arrival in Varanasi: 1435 Hours

On arrival at Varanasi airport, transfer to proposed hotel. Enjoy casual walks on the ghats. Enjoy evening boat ride over river ganges. Stay overnight.

Day 14: Varanasi
During the day, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Varanasi and Sarnath.

Day 15: Khajuraho
Transfer to Varanasi airport to board the flight to Khajuraho.

Departure from Varanasi: 1225 Hours
Arrival in Khajuraho: 1315 Hours

On arrival, check in at hotel. Enjoy a sound and light show in Khajuraho temples. Stay overnight at Khajuraho.

Day 16: Khajuraho
During the day take a guided tour to the Eastern and Western group of temples. Stay overnight at Khajuraho.

Day 17: Orchha
Drive to Orchha- a virgin historical site picturesquely located by the banks of Betwa River. The place with its beautiful palaces and thematic chambers is still almost untouristic. Visit the Fort, Raj Mahal palace, Raj Praveen Mahal Palace, Jehangir palace and the Royal chhattries. Also visit Raja Ram temple- the only place where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king. Stay overnight at Orchha.

Day 18: Gwalior
Drive to Gwalior. Check in at hotel. Visit Gwalior Fort Light and Sound show and other attractions. Stay overnight at Gwalior.

Day 19: Gwalior
Guided tour to Gwalior Fort and other places of interest over night at hotel

Day 20: Agra
Drive to Agra. Check in at hotel. Visit Taj Mahal During full moon. Overnight at hotel

Day 21: Agra
Sunrise tour of Taj Mahal. & Agra Fort overnight stays at hotel.

Day 22: Ramathra Fort
After breakfast checkout hotel and drive to Ramathra Fort and check in at the beautiful fort. Relax in the hotel.

Day 23: Ramathra Fort
Day is free to visit nearby attractions and the famous lake. Stay overnight at Ramathra

Day 24: Bundi
Drive to the quaint town of Bundi. Check in at hotel. During the day, take casual walks in the colourful market of Bundi. Stay overnight at Bundi.

Day 25: Bundi
During the day, visit Taragarh Palace and other places of tourist attraction. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 26: Udaipur
Drive to "Lake City". Udaipur on the way visit Chittorgarh Fort.

Further drive Udaipur is a cool oasis in the dry heart of Rajasthan. It is probably the most romantic city in a state where every city has some romantic or exotic tale to tell. The huge city palace towering over the Lake Pichola is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Though it is a conglomeration of buildings built by successive rulers, it manages to retain a surprising uniformity of design and affords very fine view of the lake and the city from the upper terraces.

Day 27: Udaipur
After breakfast, drive to explore the Lake City, City Palace. This is a largest place complex in Rajasthan. A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenelated walls, it is conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, balconies, corridors and rooms. The main entrance is through the triple arched gate, the ‘Tripolia’ with eight marble porticos.

Saheliyon-ki-Bari
This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and therefore the name. The garden has many fountains in its four pools, chiseled kiosks and marble elephants.

Jagdish Temple
This temple built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651. This Ind temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with enshrine of a black stone image of lord Vishnu.

In the evening, you may enjoy boating on Pichola Lake (on direct payment basis) and plan a dinner at the cafe at Jag Mandir Palace perched on an island. Stay overnight

Day 28: Udaipur Departure
After breakfast Transfer to Udaipur airport to catch flight for Delhi International airport to board your flight back home. The Tour Ends
