To reach this place from Jaipur city you will have to pass by the beautiful Water Palace (Jal Mahal) and through the Aravali mountains and the famous walls of the Amber Fort and Palace. Around the Amber area there are many interesting villages as well as the beautiful Nahargarh National Park. At present the farm of Elephant is serving as a shelter to 24 elephants and their riders. There are 23 female elephants and one male elephant. It is regarded as an eco-park or a farm-village of elephants, managed by the elephant riders. There are stables for elephants for each of them separately built besides their elephant riders’ home.

You can spend a relaxed afternoon at a private farm getting personal with a real elephant! Watch the elephants fall asleep at night and wake up with them in the early morning hours. Let them catch your smell and make them feel comfortable by stroking and talking to them while looking into their eyes.
