Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Cochin
Welcome to God's own country! On arrival at Cochin international airport you will be welcomed and assisted by our representative and will be transferred to your to check in.

During the evening, you may enjoy 'Kathakali Dance performance' in a local theatre near to your hotel. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 02: Cochin Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cochin which includes your visit to Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing nets.

Later in the day you may visit the colourful old spice market and the market on M.G. Road. Stay overnight at your hotel.

DAY 03: Cochin – Munnar
Morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel and proceed straightway to Munnar on a fascinating journey. You will pass through the stunning exotic Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations during your journey from Cochin to Munnar.

On arrival at Munnar, check in at your resort. After brief leisure enjoy a visit to Tata Tea Museum, and Devikulam. Evening enjoy a visit to Blossom International Park. Stay overnight at your resort.

Day 04: Munnar
Munnar Sightseeing: Morning after breakfast enjoy a sightseeing trip of Munnar, including visit to the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town and also walk through the market of Munnar. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight stay at your resort.

Day 05: Munnar - Periyar Tiger Reserve
Periyar Tiger Reserve: Morning after breakfast proceed to Periyar (Thekkady). Enroute, you may visit "Indian Cardamom Research Institute".

On arrival check in at your deluxe wildlife resort. After brief leisure proceed on a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which includes wild elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar and different species of birds, can also be spotted. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 06: Periyar Tiger Reserve
During the morning hour, enjoy the elephant ride around the periphery of the jungle. You may enjoy visit Spice Plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. Taste the world's best pepper.

Rest of the day is kept at your complete discretion.

You have the option to enjoy other activities provided by the Resort viz. trekking, Bullock-cart ride, nature walk, night patrolling with expert naturalist etc (Kindly note apart from elephant ride, all these suggested activities for the day are optional).

Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 07: Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast drive straightway to Kumarakom, your next destination. Kumarakom is located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake in the Kuttanad region and renowned for its natural beauty. It is an ideal base to experience the famous Kerala backwaters, replete with meandering lagoons, coconut trees, endless rows of paddy fields interspersed by waterways and canals.

On arrival you will be transferred to your backwaters resort named as 'Coconut Lagoon' set is set on an abandoned coconut plantation in the heart of Kerala backwaters. Located on the shores of the Vembanad Lake, the resort can be approached only by boat. During the day you may enjoy different Ayurvedic massages. Stay overnight at your backwater's resort.

Day 08: Kumarakom
Morning you may learn Yoga at the resort and practices it. Later enjoy Kalaripayattu – the marshal art demonstration at your resort. Day at your own discretion to enjoy the different activities at your resort. You may also enjoy a walking tour of the nearby villages and temples.

During the day you have an option to enjoy different water sports and Ayurvedic massages (extra charges applicable for the same) at your resort. Another overnight stay at your backwaters resort.

Day 09: Alleppey
After breakfast, in the afternoon houseboat will reach at your backwaters resort. On arrival embark in your houseboat (your luxury home on sail for next 22 hours). Houseboat trip is the perfect way to experience the backwater lifestyle of Kerala. The day long journey in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala is the only way to explore what otherwise seems more like a poet's version. On demand you may be provided fishing rods to enjoy the fishing during your houseboat trip.

As your trip would start, it would seem like any other boat trip but within just one hour time, the boat will reach in the area which is just breathtaking. It is far beyond imagination that how a whole life is running across both the corners of backwaters. Your houseboat trip makes you experience this very unique thing. While sitting on the deck of your houseboat or while sitting in the spacious open sit-out area, outside your bedroom, you can see the people starting their day. Among the many interesting things which you can see in the day long journey, you may also experience of:

- Children being taught the swimming lessons right at their door-step.
- Children going to school in little boats.
- Vendors selling cold-drinks and other grocery items in the boats. And
- Families moving from one place to another in the houseboat.

By the evening, your boat will get moored close to one of the villages, located by the backwaters. You can surely take a tour of this small village.

During the whole day, you will be served delicious meals prepared by your chef and his assistants. Overnight stay at your luxury air-conditioned houseboat.

Day 10: Coimbatore
After breakfast drive for Coimbatore. Check inn hotel take refreshment. Leisure evening is free for city walk. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11: Ooty
After a refreshing breakfast check out hotel for proceed Ooty. Check Inn Ooty hotel and after drive for a local sightseeing tour of Ooty. The beautiful hill station of Ooty is located on the Blue Mountains (Nilgiris) at an altitude of 2240 above MSL. Ooty, known as the 'Queen of Hill Stations', was once a favorite summer retreat of the Govt. of Madras. The landscape here is dotted with vast expanses of tea gardens, dense forests, sprawling grasslands and lofty mountains. Places of tourist interest here include the Botanical Gardens, Centenary Rose Park, Rose Garden, Lake, Government Museum, Deer Park and Doddabetta. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Ooty
Begins with the local tour of Ooty - the queen of hills. This is among the top honeymoon spots and hill station in India. Attractions include the botanical garden, Ooty Lake, and Ooty Children's Park. Shopping would also engage the couple for hours in Ooty.

Day 13: Mysore
After breakfast check out your hotel from Ooty for proceed to Mysore.. On the way to Mysore enjoy the rich scenic beauty and the breathtaking lush green surroundings for their calming effect. After reaching Mysore, check-in at one of our enlisted hotels in Mysore. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the hotel of Mysore.

Day 14: Mysore
Wake up early morning for early breakfast and take guided tour for city of Mysore. The major attractions of Mysore scheduled for the day include the Golden Royal Elephant, Mysore Palace, Chamundeshwari temple, Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo and the Durbar hall. Also visit the St. Philomenas Church, built in the Gothic style, one of the largest churches of the country. In evening come back at hotel. Overnight stay at Mysore Hotel.

Day 15: Mysore to Bangalore
After breakfast drive for Bangalore on arrival at hotel, check inn your hotel take good rest at hotel. Lesuire evening is free for city walk. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 16: Bangalore
After breakfast drive for city sight seen here visit Lalbagh, Vidansaudha, Museum and ISKON temple. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 17: Bangalore Drop
Drop to Bangalore Airport. Return journey with a wonderful holiday memories
